What is a Text Normalizer?
A text normalizer makes readable copied text consistent without rewriting it. It standardizes repeated spaces, tabs, line-ending characters and excessive blank lines before you paste the result into another app.
Optional controls handle specific formatting inconsistencies such as punctuation spacing, long ellipses, unit and currency spacing, dash spacing and supported hidden characters. In UK English, the same tool may be called a text normaliser.

Technical boundaries
The tool keeps ordinary paragraph breaks. It does not repair OCR errors, merge every wrapped PDF line, convert decorative Unicode letters or rewrite the text.
Is this a font normalizer?
It normalizes copied text, not the font chosen by another app. Rich-text styling is not preserved in the text field, but decorative letters may be separate Unicode characters and can remain unchanged. Use Unicode Cleanup when those characters are the problem.

Does Text Normalizer remove line breaks?
It standardizes line endings and reduces excessive blank lines, but it keeps normal paragraph breaks. Use a dedicated line-break tool when you need to join lines or unwrap copied PDF paragraphs.
Can I normalize text copied from Word, PDFs or websites?
Yes, when the copied text is readable and needs consistent spacing or punctuation. OCR mistakes, PDF reading-order problems and heavily damaged text need a source-specific cleanup tool.
Can I normalize AI-generated text?
Yes. The tool can clean spacing, punctuation, line endings and supported hidden characters in AI-generated text. It does not use AI, rewrite sentences or change the intended meaning.
Will normalization change my words or meaning?
The normalizer is designed for formatting-level changes. Some optional controls change punctuation or dash spacing, so review the result when exact source formatting matters.
